Lancome Deluxe Brush Set & Fashion Case (2009): Purple Love
Following its limited-edition Declaring Indigo brush set which updated the badger-brush look by dying part of the brush in a beautiful dusty royal blue, Lancôme just released another, new tantalizing set called the Deluxe Brush Set & Fashion Case. This time it is a travel-sized set and the by now 5 brushes (but minus the mineral powder brush) are dyed a bishop bejeweled purple hue and housed in a case adorned with two matching cabochons to flash a little glam when you open it...
According to the Lancôme website, "Each is made of the highest quality bristles for professional application," and all are "precision-crafted."
The set includes:
"Foundation Brush #2 - The must-have brush for flawlessly applying any foundation.
Powder Brush #1 - The pro for sheer, smooth, naturally flawless powder application.
Precision Shadow Brush #12 - The ideal partner for all Lancôme eye shadows.
Dual Ended Brush #18 - At one end: the flat, fine edge brush precisely applies shadow, wet or dry, to create a sharp eye lining result. At the other end: the shadow brush.
Blending Shadow Brush #17 - For the most precise eye shadow application. It allows you to smudge shades into eye corners for the smokiest looks."
The set retails for $59 and is said to be a $161 product value.
