Renato Balestra Diamante Nero (2009): Uncanny Resemblance {New Perfume}

Italian fashion designer Renato Balestra named his 2009/2010 Fall/Winter collection after his new fragrance Diamante Nero (Black Diamond) to honor its launch.

The collection featured designs illustrative of the stone. The presentation culminated in an outfit called Il Diamante Nero...



The Eau de Parfum has fruit notes from top to bottom.

The composition aims to evoke the sparkle of a black diamond as well with dark notes of blueberry, black violet and cacao flower.

Opening notes:

 cranberry, pink peppercorn, tamarind flower

Body notes:

rose, blueberry, black violet, cacao blossoms

Lingering notes:

vanilla, raspberry, patchouli, Massoia wood.

The list of notes presents an uncanny resemblance with that of Black XS for Her by Paco Rabanne:

"Hellebore Rose, Tamarind Blossom, Pink Peppercorns, Cranberry, Massoia Wood, Patchouli, Vanilla, Black Violet And Cacao Flower."
