Last year in 2009 designer label Bijan added two more fragrances to their already prolific portfolio of perfumes. They are called B Exquisite for Women and B Exquisite for Men. The perfumes present themselves as more upscale offerings than what we are accustomed to seeing from the brand.
It is worth pointing out that Bijan Fragrances started on the background of a discreet fanfare with their debut scent Bijan for Men in 1981 which was issued in limited numbers at 10 000 copies in hand-blown Baccarat bottles and priced $3,000....
Rose water sprinkler, Iran, 18th-19th century, Corning Museum of Glass. A gift of the Victoria and Albert Museum.
The flacons, which suggest Persian, Middle-Eastern rose-water sprinklers, underline the Oriental signatures of the scents.
B Exquisite for Women Eau de Parfum has notes of Grapefruit, Bergamot, Red Fruits, Vanilla, Sweet Nutmeg, Star Jasmine, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Musk and Amber.
B Exquisite for Men Eau de Toilette features notes of Absinth Accord, Rum Absolute, Cardamom Orpur, Bergamot Orpur, Anise Star, Pepperwood, Basil Flower, Violet Leaf Orpur, Cistus Labdanum, Soft Leather, Musc, Cedarwood Atlas, Patchouli and Vanilla.
Both perfumes are priced at $150 each.
