E-Letter-TSS.jpgElizabeth Arden have released a new flanker to Green Tea (1999) called Green Tea Lavender. The scent features a relaxing, invigorating ingredient: Givaudan's organic lavender from Bulgaria which presents "a unique character with a very rich aromatic almost ambery note." Efforts have also been made to create an eco-conscious packaging.

"Close your eyes and let yourself be transported to a place of peace and endless optimism. Purple waves of blossoms captivate the eye, while the scent of natural lavender awakens your spirit.... "

"Green Tea Lavender adds a splash of carefree relaxation to the sparkle of Green Tea original for an invigorating fragrance experience that sweeps your senses up and away. Emphasising the feel-good nature of the franchise, Green Tea Lavender has one of the highest quality certified organic essential oils available, Givaudan's Organic Lavender from Bulgaria."

The fragrance opens on notes of Meyer Lemon, Sicilian Mandarin, a herbal accord of Spearmint and Wild Chamomile. The heart rests on Green Tea, Oolong Tea, organic lavender, Bulgarian Orpur, French Lavendre Absolute Orpur and Chinese Magnolia. The base notes feature Soft Skin Musks, Birchwood and Ambrette Seed.

"Carton made from 50% Forest Stewardship Council certified paperboard and 50% post-consumer recycled fiber."

Green Tea Lavender is priced at £18,90 and seems to have launched first in the UK.

Arden seems to be particularly inspired by purple this spring with the introduction of Violet Eyes by Elizabeth Taylor as well.
