Ted Lapidus White Soul (2010) {New Fragrance}

White-Soul-Ted-Lapidus.jpgTed Lapidus launched a new fragrance for women called White Soul which is meant to be "the feminine alter ego of Black Soul," their anniversary men's cologne launched in 2009.

The flacon is meant to suggest the feminine figure including the tactile sensation of her skin and the color of her porcelain complexion. The crystallized Swarovski stone is the representation of her beauty mark.

"As carnal as it is luminous, as powerful as it is graceful, this fragrance invents a new language of love..."

The perfume is described as an ambery and woody floriental showcasing juicy mirabelles, candied apricots, white amber, orange flower and saffron. It is also based in part on a powdery-woody accord which reportdely gives the perfume a novel velvety texture while creating a richer and more modern structure.

Top notes are mandarin, tagetes, mirabelle or yelllow plum and apricot.

Heart notes are saffron, orange flower and heliotrope.

Base notes are amber, tonka bean, labdanum, benzoin.

A 50 ml Eau de Parfum is priced at 50,10€.
