Versace Vanitas (2010) {New Fragrance}

Following this year's Versus by Versace, the brand is taking little respite and will launch a new women's perfume this month in November called Vanitas. The jus, a woody floral, is signed by perfumer Dora Baghriche-Arnaud. Next spring, expect also to see a new addition to the Black Crystal line with Yellow Diamond...

Vanitas features notes of green lime, freesia, tiare flower, tonka bean, cedar wood. The fragrance is presented as a couture project meaning that it is seen as being more high-end. The prices will reflect this positioning.The eau de parfum will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml bottles priced at €75 and €98 for the two latter sizes.

The model in the advertising is 16-year-old Lindsey Wixson. The ad was shot by Craig McDean.

Vanitas will be available more widely internationally from spring 2011.
