Givenchy Very Irresistible Tropical Paradise, Pi Neo Tropical Paradise (2011) {New Fragrances - Limited Editions} {Men's Cologne}

givenchy_tropical_paradise.jpg

Givenchy will introduce a duo of limited-edition tropical, exotic fragrances for women and men on March 15th, 2011 following up on the last holiday season wintry, woody, snowed-in twists for Very Irresistible and Ange et Démon...

The brand decided once again to make us look at their classics with a new eye, smell them with a new nose. While it might sound logical to offer summer twists for both Very Irresistible for Women and Men, they instead picked Very Irresistible for Women and Pi Neo for Men to dress them in new, Hawaïan-shirt guises. The 2011 ephemeral tryst is inspired by the lush visions of a Tropical Paradise.

Close your eyes and live a timeless moment on a beach that stretches as far as the eye can see. Flowering in the shade of the palm trees are the birds of paradise, those majestic blooms that suffuse the landscape with their myriad nuances. A light breeze ripples through the plants, diffusing their scents.

The murmur of the waves, the sun’s caress and the softness of the white sand awake all your senses heightening them by the scents of Very Irrésistible Givenchy and Pi Néo Tropical Paradise.”

Very Irresistible Tropical Paradise is dubbed an aromatic floral. It opens on top notes of icy anise and crushed mint, develops a heart of passion fruit and rose, lingers on with notes of sandalwood and musk.

"A few crushed mint leaves and a hint of iced anise, Very Irrésistible Givenchy Tropical Paradise opens on an accord that is as refreshing as a summer breeze. A perfume of a thousand colours just like the exotic and luxuriant tropical vegetation and the feminine and vivid petals of the bird of paradise. Its heady acidic passion fruit aromas give way to reveal its floral heart: an armful of roses with sparkling solar accents.

The underlying sandalwood and musk envelope the fragrance with all their voluptuousness, leaving behind a sensation as delectable as the warmth of the white sand."

Pi Neo Tropical Paradise is meant to be a cooling tonic splash. It opens on notes of grapefruit, bergamot and fig leaf, segues into a heart of Safraleine, ceadr driftwood, oceanic notes and lingers on with clary sage and the signature woody base notes of Pi Neo.

"From its very first notes, Pi Néo Tropical Paradise is surprising: sparkling juicy notes of sun-kissed grapefruit and bergamot create an unexpected encounter with the crisp green perfumes of fig leaf. It’s the palm frond stylized in icy tones of green and blue revealing an addictive accord, evoking the aromas of a tropical paradise. Softened by the sensual delight of safraleine, cedar driftwood heart notes exude salty ocean fragrances.

A touch of clary sage is to embellish the Pi Néo signature woody base with its vibrant and intensely invigorating aromatic accents."
