Burberry Summer for Her & Him (2011): An English Morning in the Summer {New Fragrances - Limited Editions}
Burberry are launching a new limited-edition duo for summer 2011. Burberry Summer pour Femme 2011 and Burberry Summer pour Homme 2011 are meant to capture the peaceful atmosphere of an English summer morning. The women's scent is described as a green fruity-floral while the men's perfume is a woodsy, aquatic and citrusy blend...
For Her was composed by a man, nose Lucas Sieuzac, while the For-Him is signed by a woman, perfumer Emilie Coppermann.
Burberry Summer pour Femme reportedly opens on sparkling top notes of pomegranate, soft orange, mandarin and green leaves before seguing into a floral heart of rose, freesia and muguet. The base notes are woodsy with notes of cedar, sandalwood and white musks.
Burberry Summer pour Homme opens on notes of yuzu and mandarin. The heart rests on mint, juniper berries, thyme, driftwood and gorse bush. Base notes are cedar wood, sandalwood, musks, amber.
The Women's Eau de Toilette is priced at 55,10€ for 100 ml and the Men's Eau de Toilette is priced at 51,30€.
The flacons want to recreate a tartan feel in a pastel range of colors.
