Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas released a new perfume in July, which is a sequel to her debut scent, Outspoken from 2010 (see review.) The latest one is a flanker called Outspoken Intense. One of the two tag lines I have seen other than the one above in the advert is "Own the moment."
What caught my eye is how laden it is with exotic notes that I love in edible form - starfruit, kumquat - but also in floral form - purple passion flower, gardenia...
"When you want to be the center of attention, own the moment with Outspoken Intense by Fergie. A provocative follow-up to the original Outspoken, Avon’s most successful fragrance launch to date, the exhilarating new floral fruity fragrance gives you the power to command attention and experience the awe-inspiring rush of turning heads. Discover your most confident, sexy, unexpected self with Outspoken Intense."
Fergie herself said,
“I had so much fun developing and launching my first fragrance with Avon, so for my second fragrance, I really wanted add a little more edge. Outspoken Intense is a provocative blend of sexy confidence and daring femininity that captures the thrill and excitement of being center stage. You feel an instant electrifying rush—a feeling like no other.”
The eau de parfum fragrance opens on top notes of blackberry, starfruit and kumquat. The heart is floral, yet a bit fruity too with purple passion flower, gardenia and orange flower petals. Base notes are sensual, earthy and woody musks allied with white amber and blonde cedar.
