Footwear and lifestyle brand Nine West will launch their debut furious fragrance in January 2012. In an effort to make more thorough fashion sense, they will introduce both the fragrance Love Fury, and the eponymous pump which goes with it, at the same time. The brand's CEO Stacy Lastrina explained "We wanted to illustrate the parallel synergy of footwear and fragrance,”...
According to Jean Madar chairman and CEO of Inter Parfums, who are the developers of the fragrance,
“Love Fury is for the woman who loves the privileges of being a woman — from wearing high-heeled pumps to using fragrance’s power to seduce. The Love Fury woman is sexy and passionate, but above all, once noticed, she is not easily forgotten.”
Shoe-wise, customers will be able to purchase "a specially designed Love Fury-branded pump, a pointed-toe platform style available in black satin and an array of other colors and fabrications. The shoe will retail for $89."
The flacon plays with a stiletto theme by reproducing a heel as both cap and inner decor. Since splash bottles are now few and far between, we can assume that this is not a perfume wand applicator. Lastrina underlined the fact that the jus itself had been created to be covetable so as to ensure return customers.
The Eau de Parfum was created by Firmenich. It opens on top notes of Rose Bud FirNat, mimosa petals absolute, juicy mandarin and red berries pulp; there is a heart of Tiare Tahiti NaturePrint, Jasmine Sambac FirAbs and sandalwood; the drydown is based on orris flower, sensual musk, precious wood and addictive amber.
"The collection includes eaux de parfum in three sizes — a 0.3-oz. rollerball for $18, a 1.7-oz. bottle for $45 and a 3.4-oz. bottle for $55. A 6-oz. body lotion, $18, will also be sold."
