Salvador Dali are introducing a new flanker to Le Roy Soleil for women (1995) and Le Roy Soleil for men (1998) called Le Roy Soleil Extrême from October 2012.
Inspired by Dali's eponymous watercolor, an homage to the Sun King whom he admired for - we can make an educated guess - his flamboyance, it is said to be " true to its name, [and] subtly plays with extremes and radiates a solar aura!"...
The composition is signed by perfumer Mathilde Bijaoui who created an aromatic fougère, an iconic masculine accord as well as genre culminating in "an intensely virile eau de toilette".
Main facets are described as "the invigorating freshness of citrus" contrasting with "a very masculine, carnal wood and leather base".
"LE ROY SOLEIL EXTREME will appeal to men with strong personalities who gladly assume their role as leaders with unfailing panache, elegance and originality. Charismatic, modern men with a conquering spirit and extreme powers of seduction."
