Prada this time did not ease up on press materials for the new Candy L'Eau, the latest version of Candy. They've published a real book in thick, heavy, frayed paper - as if it had been opened with a knife as in the old days - with a hardcover, dust jacket, original illustrations, photos, and page marker in black gros grain ribbon, the whole nine yeards of publishing for just one darling new little perfume! The lovely tome narrates the adventures of Candy in Left Bank Paris...
Apparently, it's a Jules and Jim situation where she has to choose between Julius and Gene! So hard! So fun!
I haven't read the book yet, just leafed throught it -- just wanted to share my Wow! (and my numerous exclamation points) upon seeing the effort!
