The upcoming Jimmy Choo Exotic for women takes on a pink fuschia, intense raspberry hue while including a note of the fruit as well

Jimmy Choo will launch a new women's perfume from August 2013, an ephemeral edition called Jimmy Choo Exotic, which will enable you to experience a longer spell of summer 2013 if we are to believe the description while looking at the launch date on the calendar - August is sort of late for a limited-edition for summer, you would think a priori...

We are told that it "evokes the hot and intoxicating days of summer prolonging themselves into those long nights which are open to surprise, when everything seems possible,"

The Jimmy Choo Exotic woman is said to have a strong personality but is also impish; her magnetism is irresistible; she dares to wear Jimmy Choo bold colors and prints.

Perfumers Olivier Polge, Domitille Bertier and Véronique Nyberg composed the fragrance; Olivier Polge is the creator of the original perfume. They say,

"We imagined a fragrance with an exuberant character, with vivid, iridescent touches of color evoking the freshness of a cassis sorbet enhanced by pink grapefruit. This liveliness is balanced out by an exotic heart of passion flower and Tiger orchid on an intense background in which patchouli is awakened by the delicious, tasty and tart notes of raspberry."

The eau de toilette is also said to be a fruity-floral chypre reinterpretation of the original while drawing inspiration from the leather goods of the house in Python skin.

Top notes are cassis sorbet, pink grapefruit / Heart notes are: Passion flower, Tiger orchid / Base notes are raspberry , patchouli.

Price: 60€ for 60 ml

What this perfume can do for you is when summer is on the wane, make you feel like it's still summer for a little while longer, like those long rays of sunshine that linger on even in the fall. Here's hoping for an Indian summer (albeit not in the most rigorous sense of the phrase as sometimes experienced in New England, which is the weirdness of a few unnaturally gentle and soft summer nights in November); but if it won't happen, then you'll always have an exotic jus to turn to.

Expected to be on counter from August 1, 2013 in France.
