Lancôme released a new flanker to La Vie est Belle (2012) on its first anniversary called La Vie est Belle Eau Légère. The advertizing campaign continues to be fronted by actress Julia Roberts lending her smile to the juice bottled in a flacon entitled "Le Sourire de Crystal" which is meant to allude to a smiling facial expression...

As its name indicates, the new perfume, while remaining in eau de parfum concentration, is a lighter take on the original fragrance, meant to be softer and more delicate. It is co-signed by perfumers Anne Flipo, Olivier Polge and Dominique Ropion of IFF

International launch date is set for August 26, 2013 but HSN have started carrying it. The advertizing there puts the stress on the Frenchness of the perfume,

"La vie est belle — life is beautiful. Be a little French and embrace their life philosophy in the fragrance you wear. Pay homage to a world that is carefree, joyous and exclusive. Created by three of France's top perfumers, this scent invites you to embrace la joie de vivre. Wear French perfume.

The composition features notes of Pallida iris, jasmine sambac, orange blossom, pure patchouli essence, white musks, tonka bean, vanilla and praline.

Prices: 50€ for 30 ml / $74 for 50 ml.
