Victoria's Secret latest new perfume is simply and emblematically called Victoria. According to VS Beauty president Susie Coulter, it is their “most personal creation” to date. The advertising campaign, which is particularly buzzing, is fronted by one of their Angels, model Behati Prinsloo...
The composition was co-authored by perfumers in both Paris and New York and a special Victoria rose accord was created which warranted its copyrighting.
The fruity-floral eau de parfum "opens with the bold, aromatic freshness of Raspberry, Strawberry and Apple. This crisp start moves into an ultra-feminine heart of exclusive "Victoria Rose." Created by Paris perfumers, this uniquely Victoria's Secret accord is a trademarked blend of five distinct roses: English Rose, Rose Canina, English and French Primrose and Bulgarian Rose. Petally and soft with a playful windswept quality, it's a modern update for rose. The base note adds a subtle touch of gourmand: Creme Brûlée combines with Drizzled Caramel and Smooth Praline to wrap the fragrance in sensual warmth."
Prinsloo said about the fragrance that "It smells really good — really subtle and feminine. It's got crème brûlée in it, roses, and red cherry. It's something that I would wear everyday, and I'm not a huge perfume person. I don't like to be covered in it. I like how subtle and beautiful it is."
