Lanvin Eclat d'Arpège Pretty Face (2013) {Fragrance News} {New Flacon}

Artistic director for Lanvin, Alber Elbaz signs a new collector edition of Eclat d'Arpège called Pretty Face. The bulbous lilac bottle now comes decorated with a cartoonish pretty girl with a heart-shaped mouth, a purple bow and a red crystal...

The modern twist on Arpège - a brand new composition which has nothing to do with the original namesake - becomes hipper for a time hoping to appeal to young women.

The ad campaign on bottles resembles the kind of attraction created by the illustration on La Petite Robe Noire de Guerlain although it must be said that Alber Elbaz is an habitué of the drawing board, often putting out special editions bearing his drawings be them porcelain statuettes or notebooks.

Notes:  Lilac, Sicilian lemon, green tea, peach blossoms, peonies, white musk and cedar of Lebanon.

The edition is priced 40€ for 50 ml.
