Les Parfums de Rosine have added a new rose fragrance baptized Majalis to their library of roses. Specializing in the capture of the scent of the Queen of Flowers in all of its guises, the house have turned their attentive nose towards Rosa Majalis, a species of rose which originates from the mountains of Caucasus and Siberia ...

Characterized by a natural cinnamon-y perfume, it is also known as "Cinnamon rose" or "Love rose", due we can guess to its spicy facet and as cinnamon is known as an aphrodisiacal ingredient from olden times. This interpretation was created by perfumer François Robert in association with brand founder Marie-Hélène Rogeon.

The soft oriental composition features spicy notes of cinnamon, pink peppercorn, nutmeg on a backdrop of precious woods. The rose which is showcased rests its olfactory illusion on Bulgarian absolute, said to be here both bright and heady.

The eau de parfum opens on top notes of Bergamot, Mandarin, grapefruit, nutmeg, cinnamon bark leading to a heart of cinnamon leaves, Taïf rose, Tea rose, rose absolute, jasmine, black and pink pepper, coriander seeds. The base develops notes of vetiver, sandalwood, cedar wood, amber and musk.

A 100 ml bottle is priced at 125€
