Bath & Body Works introduced a new fragrance for women in December 2013 called Velvet Sugar. The list of notes reads as a big mess of a dessert, a fact which the brand is fully conscious of, using the tag line "Too much is never enough," - it sounds like a motto a James Bond with a sweet tooth could live and die by...

"Savor every moment as you indulge in this sweetly sumptuous blend of red velvet créme and golden plum laced with a swirl of sugared musk, pink jasmine and wild strawberries. Too much is never enough."

The eau de parfum is described as a "tempting blend of red velvet créme swirled with golden plum & sugared musk."

It opens on top notes of Wild Strawberries, White Nectarine, Pear Blossom, Apple Nectar followed by heart notes of Pink Jasmine, Golden Plum, Red Velvet Crème, Dewy Honeysuckle, Freesia with a further layer in the base of Golden Amber, Vanilla , Tolu Balsam, Caramel, Baileys Cream, Sugared Musk.

The gourmand composition makes you think of an English trifle dessert with all those layers of cream, cake, and fruits, plus liqueur in the bottom.

Price: $39,50 for 50 ml.
