Dior have released a new version of Dior Homme (2005) called Dior Homme Parfum...
The new scent "represents the quintessential Dior Homme." It is an "unusual concentration which creates a perfume which is both suave and intense." Thanks reportedly to the noble quality of the ingredients used it is said to "express itself uniquely on each and every skin".
The jus is signed by perfumer François Demachy. It opens on a top impression of orange followed by a floral heart of iris and rose then seguing into a base of cedarwood, leather, an oud accord, and ambrette seed.
Extraits - the highest and noblest perfume concentration - geared towards men are still few and far between although they have become less of an exotic sight. Guerlain and Hermès have contributed to attempting to break negative associations made between preciosity and (lack of) masculinity.
Price: 102,50€ for 75 ml.
