Féraud Bonheur (2014) {New Fragrance}

Feraud_Bonheur_parfum.jpg The French fashion house of Féraud founded by Louis Féraud launched a new perfume for women this year simply called Bonheur (Happiness)...

Féraud like to stress that their house mingles the spirit of Parisian chic with a joie de vivre typical of Cannes in the south of France, where they were established too.

Bonheur, like a shining diamond, created and faceted by nature, is sparkling with a special shine. Beauty, gracing the skin by its simplicity, is dual by it's innocence like fragrant jewel [sic].

The eau de parfum features, among other things, a white floral heart which is said to be slightly green in tonality. The composition is reportedly both seductive and tonic.

Top notes open on Rose Clementine (Nature Print), white peach nectar and bergamot seguing into a heart of Jasmine, Magnolia and Freesia while the base rests on Cedar, Sandalwood and White Musk.

Feraud_Bonheur_ad_2.jpg The brand issued an advertising image which is suggestive of Surrealist painting inviting you to think that happiness is a blue summer sky with perfume as the sun shedding light on the world. Louis Féraud is said to have been particularly sensitive to the notion of luminosity in his approach to fragrance-making.
