Robin McGraw - the wife of Dr. Phil and founder of When Georgia Smiled, a foundation named after her late mother which supports the fight against domestic violence - will launch a perfume named Georgia on HSN from October 28th, 2014...

The scent will help spread the word about her caritative mission while serving as a memento of her mother who is McGraw's essential source of inspiration and interest in others as she stresses that the perfume is "inspired by the strength and love of my mother".

The visual for the fragrance features the foundation Chair in a leopard ball gown on hot pink tutu petticoats while inspirational phrases appear next to her like a mantra,

I choose to be fabulous

I choose to be fierce

I choose to have joy

Georgia was developed with Cosmo International. The eau de parfum has top notes of bergamot, pink freesia and water lotus; a heart of whimsical orchid, feminine rose and tea leaf, and a base of patchouli, soothing amber and coral musk.

robin_mcgraw_pink_freesia_board.png Hot pink is a signature color of McGraw's who created a pink freesia board on Instagram which mixes several things that she likes - and again, more words of wisdom like "Too Blessed to be Stressed" painted on a background of her favorite, life-affirming shade of pink.

While her Life of My Light Candle Collection and Avery Love Lip Gloss Collection see their proceeds go 100% to her foundation, the fragrance priced at $58 for 1.7 fl oz is an entrepreneurial venture.

  1. Dear Robin...I was a in a abusive relationship and I also thought I didn't deserve any better. Well that changed when I had my first son. I have two son's now and I love them so much, I was a single mom and would work endless shifts to make ends meet. The reason I am writing to you, well I was watching Dr. Phil as I tape it EVERY single day and it is what I look forward to every evening. YOU Both are so amazing and the relationship I see you have is my DREAM relationship one day. I am 56 years old and I was doing very well with my very own hair salon that I started from nothing. No clients no following just me a small room in a building and my supplies, That was alllll I needed :-) as My clients grew so fast and I was busy every day making lady's more beautiful and doing haircuts for so many. Well, sadly for reasons I won't get in to I went through yet another divorce :-( i thought my world was perfect, a 14 year old son who was such a comical and wonderful young man and my oldest was starting his family as I had my first grandchild and I know YOU know that feeling...

    • Dear Wendy,

I just wanted to interject that you should seek moral/psychological help asap before you reach a burn-out stage as you are having so much on your plate. You don't have to do all of this alone. Even calling a counselling line to start with will do you good, I can assure you.

I'm glad you commented on the blog as I see that you are willing to unburden yourself.

We'll see what we can do for you.

      Best,
      Chant
