Ladurée Rome, Singapour Scented Candles (2014) {New Home Fragrances}

Ladurée_rome_bougie.jpg Famous French pastry house and macaron specialist Ladurée have introduced two new perfumes in their Villes Porte Bonheur (Lucky Charm City) collection of fragranced home candles called Rome and Singapour...

The collection reveals how international Ladurée patrons are, many of them tourists flocking to their shop on the Champs-Elysées.

As usual, the candles come poured into jars made of biscuit porcelain and decorated with a classical camée, which somehow manage to reproduce the feel of a colorful, pastel macaron.

Rome evokes a gourmand memory experienced on a Roman street under a blue sky. It smells of myrrh, Chinese cinnamon and honey.

Ladurée_singapour_bougie.jpg Singapour is represented by the contrasted scent of a jasmine which is both delicate and wild, precious and powerful.

The outer packaging is limited-edition. Each candle is priced at 53€.
