Issey Miyaké L'Eau d'Issey City Blossom (2015) {New Perfume}

eau_issey_city_blossom.jpg Japanese fashion designer Issey Miyaké will launch a new women's perfume and a flanker to the 90s defining perfume L'Eau D'Issey from February 2, 2015 called L'Eau d'Issey City Blossom...

This is a limited-edition or Edition Ephémère in French which will be out in time for Valentine's Day and to herald spring.

The composition has been composed by perfumer Alberto Morillas. The eau de toilette features top notes of pink peppercorn, hesperidic notes, undefined, and a "hint" of Calone. The heart showcases osmanthus flowers, freesia and magnolia blooms. They are the city flowers the name of the perfume bespeaks of. The base rests upon Virginia white cedarwood, Ambrox and white musks.

The inner and outer packagings have been decorated by street artist Mademoiselle Maurice who does colorful paper appliqués on city walls and natural landscape.

This special edition allows you to make a link between paper flowers and perfumery flowers created by art in the urban context. It also ties in nicely with origami as a source of inspiration for the fashion of Issey Miyaké.

Price: £51 for 50 ml.
