German fashion brand Aigner will release a new women's perfume from April 2015 called Ladies Day, which taps into the atmosphere of glamour of a day spent at the horse races...

The setting which inspired the composition is a mix of Paris and Ascot.

The tag line is "Welcome to the races".

"The perfect day to see and be seen,"

Perfume history buffs will remember Nuit de Longchamp by Lubin (1934) as one feminine composition inspired by the same theme. This is a socio-cultural motif which has been under-exploited by the fragrance industry.

The eau de toilette opens on top notes of bergamot, lemon, citrus notes, a marine accord, freesia, green leaves, blackcurrant and melon leading to a heart of orange blossom, magnolia, lily-of-the-valley, jasmine, peony, and roses while resting on a base of vanilla, iris, patchouli, musk, sandalwood and amber.

This is a limited-edition.
