New 2015 Unisex Fragrance
Le Couvent des Minimes have released a new wellness-themed cologne called Eau des Mâtines whose name is a reference to the liturgical mass conducted at dawn...
The composition is inspired by the representation of a rising sun in the village of Mane in Provence, where a Minim convent used to be active, as nature awakens. The olfactory profile of the scent is said to be fresh, aromatic, and fruity.
The eau de cologne opens on top notes of apple, orange and lemon meant to evoke a stroll in the orchard of the convent; the heart features pear blossoms, fig leaves, and green notes of mint and basil. The base, which is musky and woody, is meant to impart a feeling of peace and serenity.
There is the mention of an "original recipe" calling for orange and lemon for freshness and basil and cedarwood for their tonic properties.
Available in 100 ml and 250 ml for SMRP 26,50€ and 37€ respectively.
