Victoria's Secret Re-Edits & Embellishes One of their Most Adored Perfumes: Fabulous (2013/2015) {New Fragrance}

Victoria_secret_2015_bow_re_edition.jpg American temple of lingerie Victoria's Secret have re-edited and adorned, while tweaking it a bit, a five-star fragrance for the brand, Fabulous, now available in a double-bow edition...

"Forever Fabulous: a flirty double bow gives one of our most covetable scents a gorgeous new look."

The eau de parfum was originally launched in 2013, then discontinued. It has been brought back thanks to popular demand.

Reading the online comments on the brand site is quite instructive: it is simply universally loved. One commenter called Bluebird81 writes,

"I can wear it daily without offending anyone as it's not a "perfumey" scent...it just makes you smell good. It's like getting really amazing shampoo and hair products or a really awesome body lotion...I smell good without someone saying wow that perfume is amazing."

The scent is noted for its sublety, its freshness and uber-femininity. Some longer-time wearers note also that the new flacon houses a slightly tweaked version of the original which makes it smell even better.

The 2013 original was presented as an "innovative floral."

"Fluffy florals combined with weightless fruits and a base of whipped warmth. The result is an innovative floral fragrance anchored by the sparkling trio of juicy currant, osmanthus blossom and pink freesia. Beyond sexy."

The composition opens on juicy currant, violet leaves, apricot nectar, and natural mandarin essence leading to a heart featuring osmanthus blossom, lily-of-the-valley, jasmine sambac, and pink freesia. The base rests on Australian sandalwood, proprietary musks, benzoin, and whipped, fluffy vanilla.

Price: $68 for 3.4 fl.oz
