Dior has reworked the original version of Dior Homme Sport from 2008, already revamped in 2012, with a new tune-up in 2017, making it smell more citrusy and fresher still, thanks to an optical approach...

Perfumer François Demachy made technical improvements which enable the scent to smell fresh all the way from top to bottom - and with no end in sight. He calls the effect "a beginning without an end, " but also a "freshness, which is like an optical illusion."

"Dior Homme Sport is a story that starts off strong and fast, and never lets up. A meteor that bursts with a lasting, intense pleasure."--François Demachy, Dior Perfumer

Top notes are blood orange, cédrat, grapefruit and pear. The spicy-aromatic signature accord found in the Dior Homme fragrances follows next underlined by a note of elemi, which the nose describes as a kind of citrusy incense, but also pink peppercorn, nutmeg and geranium. The base rests on Haitian vetiver and sandalwood.

The advertising campaign continues to be fronted by actor Robert Pattinson.
