Colonia Edizione Murano by Acqua di Parma {Fragrance News} {Luxury Perfume}

 

The historical Italian brand Acqua di Parma, founded in 1916, will launch its first limited edition in March 2007. It is called Colonia Edizione Murano (The Murano Edition Cologne) ....

The cologne itself remains untouched but it will be possible to decant the famous perfume in a prestige edition bottle created by artist Giorgio Vigna in the glass workshops of the island of Murano near Venice. There will be only 1,100 copies available and it will come in a 180 ml size. The caps are in bakelite.

"The fragrance will come in a velvet-lined case containing the eau de cologne, the empty Murano glass bottle and a small funnel for decanting the fragrance into the bottle. The set will retail for €700."

The perfume was a favorite of Ava Gardner, David Niven, and other Hollywood celebrities.
