Air of Style & The Stylistics by Mac {New Perfume} {Beauty Notes}
One can catch a whiff of the holidays already just a day after Labor Day weekend as brands are gearing up to offer new perfumes for the holiday season. Mac, which is more of a household name where makeup is concerned nevertheless offers a collection of fragrances, to which it is going to add a limited edition called Air of Style together with a makeup line called The Stylistics.....
The perfume was composed by perfumer Laurent Le Guernec of International Flavors and Fragrances (Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely, with Clément Gavarry; Michael by Michael Kors; Lucky 6 by Lucky; Bond No.9 Chelsea Flowers....). It includes notes of white pepper, red dates, red peonies, island cypress, tuberose absolute, orange flower, jasmine, ylang ylang, orris, leather, precious woods, vetiver, Tonka bean, and amber crystals. The red date note sounds promising together with the tuberose and the orange flower....and the rest, but dates have a warm aroma that go so well with fall and winter and should be made richer and sexier with tuberose absolute and ylang ylang. Other perfumes with dates that we love and recommend are Serge Lutens Arabie and Sonia Rykiel Woman.
The Venetian-looking flacon is hand-blown and refillable.
Priced at $60 for 30ml, the new EdT is positioned at a higher end to MAC’s seven existing fragrances, priced $22.50 for 20ml. Only 3,000 units of the fragrance have been produced. The Stylistics makeup line of six products also has a premium positioning, priced from $20 for a lipgloss to $60 for the evening clutch.
The scent and the makeup collection will launch on November 28 in the US. A global launch in selected outlets is scheduled for December. The limited edition makeup collection will launch in MAC stores only.

Thanks to you I saw there were many more notes included, so we'll have to test it to see what facets are predominant:) But I do love dates in a fragrance so I hope they do add their warmth.
