The Body Shop White Musk Blush, Japanese Cherry Blossom (2008) {New Fragrances}
The Body Shop have introduced two new scents called White Musk Blush and Japanese Cherry Blossom, both in eaux de toilette concentrations.
White Musk Blush is part of a recent effort launched by The Body Shop to update and draw on the popularity of their original White Musk fragrance. The fall of 2007 saw the releases of a collection of ancillary products and spins on the original oil as well as a masculine version with White Musk for Men. This spring we are discovering a light, fruity-floral adaptation of the popular scent....
Top Notes: bergamot, apple, cinnamon bark, mandarin and drenched fruit. Middle Notes: wild rose, freesia peach, white violet and lily. Bottom Notes: musk, sandalwood, vanilla and amber.
A 1 oz. flacon retails for $17.50.
Japanese Cherry Blossom is no doubt inspired by the rituals of spring around the Sakura or cherry blossom tree in Japan. The Body Shop promises that the scent is "authentic", which probably means that it is a realistic take on the idea.
Notes are not listed. A 1.7 oz. flacon retails for $22.
