Prada Infusion d'Homme (2008) •• Just Showered {New Fragrance}
Prada will launch a masculine counterpart to the popular Infusion d'Iris for women, introduced in 2007, called Infusion d'Homme. It is inspired directly as well by the iris feminine scent and was composed by the same perfumer, Daniela Andrier of Givaudan.
The scent aims before all to feel clean; "It has a very fresh, crisp smell — like a man just out of the shower." It will be somewhat interesting to see how this new trendy sensation is conveyed (see for comparison Etat Libre d'Orange Tom of Finland, Clean Showerfresh).....
Notes are: Tunisian neroli, iris pallida, vetiver, cedarwood, incense and benzoin.
Didier Maine de Biran general manager of Puig North America said,
"Like Infusion d'Iris, it works closely with the body to create a subtle yet distinctive scent, which is inspired by the finest artisan traditions of classic perfumery."
"The collection will include eaux de toilette in five sizes — 1.7 oz. for $54, 3.4 oz. for $74, 6.75 oz. for $100, 13.5 oz. for $160 and 25.5 oz. for $275 — as well as a 3.4-oz. aftershave balm, $49.50; aftershave lotion, $49.50 for 3.4 oz.; bath and shower gel, $35 for 8.5 oz., and soaps, packaged two for $38. The larger eaux de toilette sizes come with portable 1-oz. flasks and funnels for consumers to use for portability. All prices are for the U.S. only."

Dang. Who needs 25.5 oZ of an Eau de Toilette? Wouldn't you get sick of it before it was finished? I really like the Prada for men though, so if this smells good, I am buying it for my husband. Though maybe only the smallest size.

WOW, that's all I can say!
The opening is so wonderfully clean, natural mandarin smelling. It's like you just came out of a refreshing soapy clean shower after a hard day of work.
It isn't "perfumy" at all. I absolutely love this!
