Jessica Simpson Fancy (2008) {New Fragrance} {Celebrity Perfume}

As announced earlier in April, Actress and singer Jessica Simpson will launch her debut signature fragrance called Fancy in August 2008. It was created by perfumer Alexis Dadier of Mane Paris and developed with Parlux Fragrances and the Camuto Group.
The scent is described as being fresh and flirtatious and an expression of floral femininity. Simpson said,
"With FANCY, I wanted to create a pretty fragrance, one that I could be
just as comfortable wearing on the red carpet or every day with my favorite jeans,"
"This is a special fragrance - personal, whimsical, playful and romantic. To me, FANCY is just that: Fancy." ...
"FANCY Jessica Simpson opens with the radiance of sparkling Pear and juicy Apricot Nectar wrapped with the glow of Red Fruits. The heart of FANCY is the captivating draw of dewy Gardenia laced with the delicacy of Night Blooming Jasmine. Toasted Almonds and Caramel notes provide a playful element. Creamy Sandalwood, infused with the sensual energy of Amber Crystals, unites with the embracing warmth of Vanilla Crème as FANCY clings to the skin at dry down. The fragrance itself is the color of blush champagne, a soft pink, the ultimate color of femininity."
The flacon was inspired by a vintage-bottle design. Jessica wanted the flacon to look pretty on a vanity table as well.
Notes are: top: pear, apricot nectar, red fruits; heart: gardenia, jasmine, toasted almonds, caramel; base: sandalwood, vanilla crème, amber crystals.
I have smelled the perfume near the cap, just to have a general idea about the composition, but it is probably safer to hold out until I can take the time to test the fragrance properly. So, stay tuned!
"...the FANCY fragrance collection consists of a 3.4 oz. Eau de Parfum Spray ($59.00)
and a 1.7 oz. Eau de Parfum Spray ($49.00), and a 5.0 oz Body Lotion ($30.00). The launch Gift with Purchase is a vintage-inspired cosmetic case, in soft pink to match the fragrance. It will arrive at retail August 2008, in time for Back to School." Estimates are that the sales for the perfume will generate $35 million worldwide.
There will also be tie-ins with Sony when her new album comes out on September 9, 2008 and the best-selling styles of her shoes at Macy's.

I have smelled this fragrance and have worn it. I love it. I tend to get migrains from many fragrances and didnt expect to like a fragrance from Jessica Simpson so am very surprized. Thank you Jessica for comming out with a great fragrance.

They might want to rethink this since she's trying to break into country and the perfume shares the name of a very famous Reba Mcintire song about a prostitute.
Unless they want people to think of prostitutes when they smell her perfume and listen to her cd.

I really love the smell of this one yes I agree I get headaches from some perfumes but this one smells like a flower so it is a very pretty /nice smell not to strong!
