Singer Kylie Minogue introduced a new fragrance this month called Couture. It is her fifth to date following her debut scent Darling (2006), Sweet Darling (2007), Showtime (1st half of 2008) and Sexy Darling (second half of 2008).

The scent launches with the tag line "Dare to wear." The flacon taps into a sensual iconography of curvaceous shapes and half-open corset, the latter offering the modern twist of appearing to be made of black leather...

The perfume was composed by nose Alexandra Kosinski who built the composition around a note of passion flower to embody Kylie Minogue's personality,

"While creating this fragrance, I was inspired by Kylie's new aura: a modern icon, incredibly smart, her radiant smile expressing her eternal passion for life. That's why I chose the passion flower which perfectly embodies Kylie's personality."

The scent is described as a sparkling and ultra-feminine floral musk.

Top notes are: Amanda cherry, lemon flower, vintage violet

Heart notes are: ylang ylang, passion flower, night blooming jasmin

Base notes: musk ribbons, vanilla sorbet, white cedarwood
