Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue Gold (2010) {New Perfume}

Arden_5thAvenue_Gold.jpgAs part of the brand's 100th anniversary celebration (see also Red Door Red lipstick), Elizabeth Arden have introduced a limited-edition flanker to the original 5th Avenue (1996) called 5th Avenue Gold. The fragrance was composed by perfumer Olivier Gillotin of Givaudan...

5th Avenue Gold is reported to reproduce the richness of the original while now being endowed with a new transparency and vibrancy. It looks like this is an effort to align with the seemingly contradictory Oxymoron or Light-Depth movement we are seeing in perfume-making recently.

Notes include bergamot, mandarin, muguet, linden blossom, magnolia, pink guava, jasmine, rose, iris and musk.

A 125 ml spray bottle of Eau de Parfum is priced at $59.
