Yesterday in Paris, Chloé launched a new fragrance called Love, as reported by Grazia. We're not sure whether the comma is essential or not but it was repeatedly used all over the ad materials followed by the names of feminine icons. For now, I'll keep the name as being "Love, Chloé." We were just told that the perfume will launch later in the US, in about six months.

The party took place at the Apicius restaurant. The fragrance spokesperson is model Raquel Zimmerman. The perfume itself plays out a cosmetic accord as it is said to be inspired by the scent of an old Coty face powder....

This is bound to thrum some nostalgic strings.

The most famous scent of a Coty face powder which has stayed among the ones that were released is actually borrowed from a Coty perfume, L'Origan. There were also Chypre, L'Aimant and Emeraude which all were fine fragrances and scented the airspun Coty face powder.

In attendance at the launch party were members of the film industry, beauty industry and media industry such as director Roman Coppola, who might or might not have directed the commercial with Zimmerman (they arrived together in a car), French actresses such as Julie Depardieu, Ludivine Sagnier, Sylvie Testud and French Vogue editor Karine Roitfeld.

No pictures yet of the bottle and ad.
