Jean Paul Gaultier is preparing to launch an extremely fresh version of Le Male called Le Male Terrible in "eau de toilette extrême" concentration. (Normally one should write "Le Mâle" in proper French but the brand prefers to simplify the orthography.)
Contrary to the icy olfactory theme, the ad copy oozes hot sexiness calling out to all bad boys, especially the closet ones. The new iteration was created by perfumer Aurélien Guichard...
Le Male Terrible opens on top notes of bitter grapefruit and spicy pink peppercorn followed by a heart of lavender. The base rests on notes of vetiver, vanilla, and musky amber.
To emphasize the bad-boy theme, the flacon of perfume is adorned with a razor pendant.
The eau de toilette launches from August 2010 and will be available in two sizes: 75 ml for 54 € and 125 ml for 75€. In travel retail, prices are 43€ and 60€.
