If you enjoy Opium by Yves Saint Laurent, you might be interested in giving a sniff to You're the Fire by Yardley, the little-known perfume from the 70s that was a source of inspiration for the Yves Saint Laurent global bestseller.

The Vermont Country Store have managed to recreate the formula in response to customers' requests...

The reason I used the title "..Back on US Soil" is that it's still sold in the South African market (see the new flanker, You're the Fire Summer Nights.)

"Top notes of bergamot, lavender, clove, and nutmeg; middle notes of jasmine, rose, and orange blossom; and base notes of patchouli, cedar wood, and vanilla."

The tag line is, well, fiery:  "its aroma, ignited by your body heat, will light your fire."

Price: $50 for 1 fl. oz. Available at vermontcountrystore.com
