Keira Knightley Gets Her Boots Taken Off by Handsome Stranger in New Coco Mademoiselle Ad {Perfume Images & Ads}
This is a teaser. More to come. Stay tuned for more stills and a movie. When first announced in September 2010, we had seen British actress Keira Knightley dressed up in a beige motorist suit, the shade being a known fetish color of Coco Chanel's as well as the name of one of the fashion designer's perfumes, Beige...
Now in one of the stills from the advertising campaign directed by filmmaker Joe Wright of Pride and Prejudice (2005), Keira is seen being undressed by her love interest. The film is bathed in beige and golden lights playing on a refined cloisonné japonisant background.
The story of Coco Mademoiselle is apparently that of a modern amazon riding her motorbike in Paris in the chicest of beige suede suits before being convinced to cast aside her conquering persona and made to feel like a woman.
Fragrance advertising is very often about the showcasing of duality, one which si resolved by perfume. Coco Mademoiselle, we are invited to think, allows you to be this living contradiction: an aggressive bike rider and a sensual woman meeting her lover in a hotel room wearing only draped sheets.
