Lancôme will introduce a new variation of Trésor called Trésor L'Absolu Désir from November 15th, 2011. The evolution is justified by the fact that the brand wanted to explore a more sensual facet of the perfume, a task which was entrusted to perfumer Dominique Ropion. The nose said,

"The concept was to be able to recognize the Trésor lineage while discovering an unknown territory."...

Contrary to some beliefs, a good creative flanker policy can help revive a perfume which is in danger of feeling old and passé. Playing new accords can help you appreciate the older ones with a new sense of understanding. It is also a way for a classic to express the fact that it knows what is happening in the world 20 years after it was born.

This creative goal was carried out by focusing on the ingredient rosa centifolia, sourced from the Lancôme fields in Grasse. Next, a jasmine absolute and Bourbon vanilla were added to create the sense that indeed this is a perfume for "women who are passionate lovers."

Penelope Cruz incarnates those women in a print advertising photographed by Mario Testino.

A 40 ml bottle is priced at 86€.
