Estée Lauder like every year have released several items to profit the Pink Ribbon campaign this month which is now traditionally dedicated to breast cancer in the beauty world. 2011 sees a new twist as two of these items sees the pink fade into blue in a highly symbolic manner,
"We know that breast cancer doesn't just affect women. That's why this year, a blue stone has been added to our ribbon compact to represent the 1% of men who are affected."
"Sparkling with pink and blue crystals, this golden compact is filled and refillable with Lucidity Translucent Pressed Powder (small size refill). Mirror inside and beautifully boxed, with a velvety pouch. Approximate dimensions: 2" diam. x 3/4" thick."
A pin is also available with the same pattern of crystals. You can compare it with the 2009 version.
Prices: $55 and $12,50.
20% of the retail price will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®.
If you purchase these products at Dillards and pay a further $15 (minimum purchase of $50), you get a canvas tote called Pucker-Up. $5 from the sale of each tote will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
