Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême (2012): Fronted by Danny Fuller, Directed by Kathryn Bigelow {New Fragrance} {Men's Cologne}

allure_homme_sport_eau_extreme.jpgChanel will launch a new, third flanker to Allure Homme (1999) called Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême. The scent created by in-house perfumer Jacques Polge gets inspiration for its ad campaign from extreme sport, big-wave surfing.  The message for the project is to “express an extreme attitude through moments of adrenaline,”...

allure_homme_sport_eau_extreme_ad.jpgProfessional surfer Danny Fuller is the face of the films and adverts that were shot for the promotional campaign. Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker) was hired to shoot the campaign based on her work on the surf movie Point Break. Four different films were scripted ensuring that there would be a wealth of angles and images to choose from rather than cut one long film into four parts.

A preview of the campaign will be released on chanel.com on March 1, 2012.

Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême features notes of mint, clary sage, black pepper from Madagascar, tonka bean and sandalwood.

Prices: 1.7 oz. for $62 and 3.4 oz. for $84.
