In 2004, beauty and skincare brand Ren introduced their first perfume called Cologne 04, a scent originally marketed as a men's fragrance according to the British press at the time. Today in 2012, it is still sold, but with no indication of gender specialization on their site.
"A modern interpretation of a classic cologne. Light and easy to wear but with an addictive quality of lingering warmth and mystery."...
"Inspired by the sun, spices and colours of the Mediterranean from Sicily to Morocco it evokes warmth, pleasure and sensuality. It begins with top notes of fresh, aromatic citrus and a hint of light spices, the heart is made of precious absolutes and transparent florals while the dry down is warm and woody."
Emphasis today is put on how "clean" the product is, using only natural and nature-identical ingredients.
