Yves Rocher masculine scents are usually solidly classic but surprisingly good too, with a welcoming intensity, a confident, virile presence which does not seem interested in pursuing unisex vibes. Ambre Noir is their latest entry in the men's fragrance category...

If you like all-man scents, you might want to check it out, all the more so since these are usually underrated.

The jus is composed by perfumer Christophe Raynaud, one of the co-authors of 1 Million by Paco Rabbane. He said,

"I wanted to convey what could be a masculine expression of seduction. An affirmation of oneself, a strong signal of one's virility, but with a certain refinement."

Notes include patchouli, vetiver, tonka bean (a key element in bestseller Paco Rabanne 1 Million), cedar wood and lavender.
