Lancaster Summer Splash (2013) {New Perfume}

Lancaster, which are probably better known today for their cosmetics, are introducing a perfume for summer from April 2013 called Summer Splash. It is inspired by the scent of their Lancaster Sun Products line. In France, you can still spot Lancaster Eau de Toilette Concentrée (1987) from their Bath & Cosmetics line - a former favorite of ours - in some venues but it's a relatively rare sight...

Despite the idea that Lancaster might be biased in creating perfumes that are accessories for and after the bath (like Youth-Dew) rather than purely fine perfumes, and if going by their original opus, we can expect a fully blown rather than a thin & light fragrance.

Lancaster Summer Splash is a fruity-floral featuring notes of Egyptian neroli, Calabrian bergamot, a breeze accord, heliotrope Absolute, magnolia, orange blossom, sparkling musk, and sun-dried driftwood.

Indeed, it looks like this splash won't be just air and water. The list of notes hints at that Lancaster fragrance idea that the thickness of a scent comparable to that of Youth-Dew is how a feminine bath moment ought to smell like.
