French niche fragrance house Nicolaï have launched a new perfume in their series of Eaux Fraîches; after Eau d’Eté, Eau miXte, Eau cHic and Eau à la Folie, here comes Eau sOleil, inspired by the success of their Brume d'Oreiller, a pillow mist perfumed with soothing and refreshing orange blossom...

The composition is described as a floral hesperidic scent. It is said to be "delicate and subtle" with a main note of orange blossom whose supporting cast includes ylang-ylang from the Comores and Egyptian jasmine for a solar effect.

The opening was designed to be fresh and aromatic with notes of bergamot, lemon, mandarin, lemon-tree petit grain, artemisia and thyme. The heart is built around a white floral bouquet of neroli and jasmine. The base notes, which allow the scent to linger on, are patchouli and "synthetic musks".
