Moschino have launched a new women's fragrance in the Cheap & Chic series called Chic Petals. The feminine persona which serves as inspiration for the collection is Popeye's fiancée, Olive, whose silhouette is captured in the stylized shape of the bottle. She is seen as another Amélie Poulain by Moschino as like her she is able to rejoice in the minutest epiphanies that life has to offer her...

"The amazing elegance and genuine beauty of flowers expresses a new sense of lightness, coloured with joy and spontaneity. Moschino Chic Petals continues the story of Olive, a simple, sensitive woman who is able to observe the environment and capture the wonder behind the sweetest little things of nature."

The fruity-floral eau de toilette opens on top notes of pomegranate, red ginger, wild strawberry leading to a heart of gardenia, water lily and red orchid then finishing on an unusual configuration of notes in the base with Hinoki wood, musk and Iris Absolute from Italy.

You can watch the commercial featuring models Ginta Lapuna and Jonatan Frenk and directed by Giampaolo Segura

A patron and commenter at House of Fraser said that shed intended to give the perfume as a birthday present to her sister and ended up keeping it for herself as she loved it so much noting that it is a fragrance that makes you feel happy when you wear it.

Available in a 50 ml bottle. Prices fluctuate from £26,99 to £35,50.
