Mapping Out London in Perfumes

British niche perfume brand Londoner aka Bex London have launched their latest fragrance W11. Like the four previous ones, it is inspired by both historic and contemporary London. The composition is signed by Azzi Glasser this time while the four first so-called urban fragrances - SE1; EC2; N6; W1X - were composed by François Robert...

W11 rather than "Notting Hill District" is said to be a "deep" floriental taking inspiration from the "vintage glamour of the 1930s" featuring contrasted notes of musk, oud, ylang lightened by cassis, pimento, violet leaf and freesia.

The brand highlights W11 as their first Eau de Parfum. The packaging evolves as well bearing the signature of young designer Finn O’Brien.

A recent composition by Azzi Glasser which takes up the oriental oud-inspired theme too producing a "thick" perfume whose texture is not exactly trendy is Grey Flower by Reiss.

Price: £98 for 100ml.
