The Best of Both Men's Worlds

Inter Parfums have announced the launch of a new, co-branded perfume for men by S.T. Dupont called Paris Saint Germain, inspired by the legendary French soccer club. The contract reportedly stipulates that it will be the official fragrance of the PSG...

This alliance between two a priori very different brands is seen as a partnership between two French, Parisian names embodying common values of excellence and authenticity, but also of elegance, pride, and respect, in their own terms. It is also for the creators a chance to see the merging of two strongly masculine universes.

Paris Saint Germain eau de toilette follows in the footsteps of a line of S.T. Dupont accessories branded with the colors of the club, which was issued in 2013.

The aromatic and woody fougère is signed by perfumer Christophe Raynaud of Firmenich (Paco Rabanne 1 Million). It is said to be an intense fragrance offering a natural sense of elegance and French style.

The eau de toilette opens on head notes of lemon, mint, violet leaves seguing into a heart built around a fougère accord and scented further with aromatic touches of tarragon leaves and sage. The base is woody and mossy with sandalwood, cedarwood and moss.

The outer packaging, it can be noted, was designed so as to recreate the sensation of touching the iconic blue soccer shirt, a trademark artifact of the club.

Prices: 59€ for 100 ml and 39€ for 50 ml. Available exclusively in Paris Saint-Germain points of sales and S.T. Dupont boutiques from May 2014.
