French fashion and perfume label Lolita Lempicka have released a new version of their licorice flower bestselling perfume called Eau de Minuit with Minuit Sonne (Midnight Strikes)...
"Minuit Sonne captures the wonder and sensuality of a starlit night. Mysterious and captivating, this new Lolita Lempicka fragrance is transporting us to the heart of an exceedingly sensuous night."
The woody oriental perfume showcases the fetish fragrance note of the house, licorice, while adding deeper, more resinous and balmier notes.
Notes include liquorice bloom, iris, jasmine, myrrh, benzoin and a vanilla infusion.
Personality is "addictive" and "daring".
While ivy, aniseed and violet are no longer mentioned officially as notes, the list of fragrance notes points to the scent being the annual relaunch of Eau de Minuit unchanged but for its external appearance.
The house of Lolita Lempicka has been weaving this licorice note in a number of flankers since Lolita Lempicka now rebaptized Le Premier Parfum has proven to be a success.
Eau de Parfum is £68 for 100 ml. Already available at Debenham's.
