France mass-market leader for men's colognes Scorpio have launched a new perfume called Adrenaline Shock...
Last year it was Tribal Instinct which was added to the Scorpio tribe.
The brand is popular in the country where there is no lack of choice for perfumes. One of the keys to Scorpio's success is emphasis on thoughtful fragrance composing which is typically entrusted to seasoned and well-known perfumers. Another key is how the brand organize interactive advertising campaigns.
Adrenaline Shock was co-created by perfumer-composers Pierre Wargnye et Alienor Massenet while Tribal Instinct was signed by Olivier Polge, who is now an in-house perfumer at Chanel.
The flacon was designed by renowned bottle stylist Pierre Dinan.
The new fragrance is not verbose. It is an olfactory take on the vibrant universe of the night. The scent is "daring, peppery and hypnotic."
Its launch took place in partnership with the national French rugby team.
There is also currently a selfie competition running until September 22, 2014 on Facebook to win a spot in the Scorpio calendar for 2015. To win, you need to exhibit "the most beautiful torso."
